Bad Cholesterol Can Be Good. It Depends On The Time When You Do The Reading.....
Bad cholesterol is actually good
A new research has found that low-density lipoprotein (LDL) known as "bad cholesterol" is not as bad as it has been made out to be.
LDL is referred to as the "bad" cholesterol because it tends to build up in the walls of arteries. This in turn, cause a slowing of the blood flow that will often lead to heart disease and heart attacks.
The research showed that after workouts, participants who had gained the most muscle mass also had the highest levels of LDL cholesterol. This tells us that you need a certain amount - of LDL to gain more muscle mass. There's no doubt you need both, the LDL and the HDL. The truth is, cholesterol is all good. You cannot remove all of it from your body without causing serious problems to your health.
Cholesterol's Not As Bad As You Think
We often hear people said,
'I want to get rid of all my LDL cholesterol,' but the fact is, if you do that, you would die. The reason being your tissues need cholesterol, and LDL delivers it to repair any damaged tissues. The HDL, good cholesterol, cleans up after the repair is done. And the more LDL you have in your blood, the better you are able to repair and build muscle during resistance training.
The message is that high levels of LDL cholesterol, serves as a reminder that something is wrong and we need to find out what it is and rectify it.
